It summarizes the charges for:

  • Payment card processing

    • Pledge covers payment card fees for donations less than $1,000 for Pledge-owned and -hosted products: Donation Forms, Fundraiser Pages, and our Donations by Pledge Zoom App.

    • otherwise 2.9% + 30¢ per charge are deducted from the donation to pay our service providers

  • One of the following usually applies, although there are exceptions if the costs are sponsored or the donor elects "cover our costs:"

    • tips, if enabled. Tips are optional and adjustable by the donor.
    • if tips are not enabled, there is a 5% technology fee (if the donation form was not configured for optional tips)

  • disbursement-related fees

    • $5 per payout if gross payout is over $20

    • additional fee for disbursements to organizations outside the U.S
